Role Description

RYCOE Enterprises is hiring a Lead Heavy Equipment Mechanic to oversee and perform maintenance and repairs on our heavy and medium-duty fleet. What you would be responsible for:

• Lead and perform repairs and maintenance on heavy and medium-duty equipment
• Serve as the subject matter expert for mechanical diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Develop and manage a proactive preventative maintenance program
• Ensure all vehicles and equipment meet safety and compliance standards
• Maintain a clean organized and efficient shop
• Provide management with updates on repair trends delays and fleet readiness
• Mentor and develop team members
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and service records

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years mechanical experience (excavation and/or agricultural equipment preferred)
• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic capability
• Prior leadership or team oversight experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Valid NYS Driver’s License (CDL a plus)
• Deep knowledge of safe and efficient use of industry tools
• A professional who takes pride in doing things the right way

Compensation & Benefits

• $30.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on experience and leadership level)
