What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Processing & Logistics Coordinator position at Rychiger North America Inc?
The Role
You will be the link between our U.S. customers, our service team and our manufacturing plants. You will manage the order process end to end in close coordination with the manufacturing plants, handle the administrative side of logistics and trade, and support day-to-day warehouse operations. The role is roughly 70-80% order processing and administration and 20-30% logistics administration and warehouse work.
What You Will Do
Order processing and customer administration
- Enter, convert, track and maintain customer orders in our ERP system
- Convert and forward sales orders as purchase orders to our manufacturing plants in Canada and Europe
- Help ensure and track the successful, on-time delivery of spare parts
- Create and send customer invoices and follow up on open payments
- Create and send internal invoices according to intercompany rules
- Handle U.S. border tariffs and duties on cross-border transactions and pass them on to the end customer
Process improvement
- Standardize local procedures and create clear SOPs
Logistics and warehouse (approx. 20-30%)
- Coordinate shipments and handle logistics administration
- Receive, store, package and ship parts
- Manage local warehouse stock and keep inventory records accurate
What You Bring
- Commercial education or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar industry or role
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, accounting and CRM tools
- Fluent business English, written and spoken
- A strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills, as both a consultant to customers and a team player
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs”

Nice to have
- Background or experience in a technical field
- Foreign trade education or experience (customs, import/export, tariffs and duties)

Our Mount Prospect location is a small, close-knit team and local warehouse that receives and ships and refurbishes spare parts to customers across the United States. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on coordinator to keep orders, shipments and paperwork running smoothly from the first order to final delivery.
