Job Description: Snowflake Developer
Location: Metropark, NJ (Onsite 2–3 days per week)

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data warehouse solutions to support Bank’s financial and regulatory reporting.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) for seamless integration across banking systems.
- Develop Python scripts for automation, data processing, and advanced analytics.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale financial datasets ensuring performance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders in banking and capital markets to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with financial domain standards including data security, auditability, and regulatory guidelines (Basel III, AML, KYC).
- Partner with data governance teams to maintain data quality and lineage across enterprise systems.
- Support ad-hoc reporting and analytics for risk management, treasury, and investment banking functions.
- Work closely with onshore/offshore teams to deliver scalable solutions within project timelines.
Required Experience
- Snowflake Development – 2 years
- Azure Data Factory (ADF) – 3 years
- Python Programming – 3 years
- SQL (Advanced) – 7 years
- Overall IT/Data Engineering Experience – 10 years
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Databricks – 2 years
- Exposure to banking and financial services domain, especially:
- Risk & Compliance (AML, Basel III, SOX)
- Capital Markets & Treasury Data
- Regulatory Reporting (SEC, OCC, Fed)
- Customer & Transaction Data Management
- Strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks.
- Certifications such as:
- SnowPro Core Certification (Snowflake)
- Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer (optional)
- Excellent communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and technical teams.
