Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Semi Mechanic to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities

• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections to ensure vehicle longevity and safety.
• Diagnose and repair automotive engine systems, including diesel engines, utilizing automotive diagnostic tools and schematics.
• Perform complex repairs on powertrain components, engine repair, and automotive electrical systems with precision and attention to detail.
• Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques safely during mechanical repairs and vehicle servicing.
• Align wheels and perform vehicle system inspections to maintain optimal handling and performance.
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance activities for each vehicle serviced.

Experience

• Proven dealership experience or equivalent in automotive repair environments.
• Strong background in automotive diagnostics, including the use of advanced diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
• Experience working with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of automotive engine technology, electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and heavy vehicle maintenance is essential.
• Familiarity with Peterbilt, Kenworth, freightliner etc vehicles is required.
• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and alignment equipment.
• Prior experience in automotive repair focusing on diesel engines, vehicle systems, and mechanical repair is preferred.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
