What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at Ryan Transportation Group?
Truckload Dispatcher needed for our location in Livonia, MI.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Daily load and route planning
- Bidding on broker boards throughout shift
- Dispatching trucks to designated locations in a timely manner
- Communicating with Customers daily by phone and email
- Dispatching of 50 drivers daily
- 10 hour shifts M-F (weekends are rotated between dispatchers)
- Transportation/Dispatch experience preferred
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations
- Computer Skills (Outlook, Windows, Excel and Truckmate Dispatch Software)
- Excellent communication skills
- Willing to work overtime if necessary
- Position available midnights from Sunday to Thursday
