Position Summary
Are you an experienced Oral Surgery Assistant or a Dental Assistant looking for a change? We are willing to train the right candidate to be an amazing Oral Surgery Assistant! At Village Family Dental, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to our patients. You will support our team of providers throughout all stages of patient care.
Your duties will include:
- Assist oral surgeon chairside during procedures to ensure instruments are prepared and organized.
- Utilize knowledge of dental and medical terminology to communicate effectively with the surgical team.
- Maintain aseptic technique and infection control standards throughout oral surgery procedures.
- Assist with nitrous oxide administration, IV sedation, and monitoring of patient’s vital signs.
- Collaborate with surgical team to ensure smooth workflow and patient comfort.
