Ryan Iron Works has been the leading miscellaneous metals fabricator south of Boston for over 50 years. Our home office is conveniently located in Raynham, MA at the intersection of Rt. 495 & Rt. 138 and just minutes from Rt. 24 for an easy commute. Notable projects include Gillette Stadium, Foxboro, The Holocaust Memorial, Boston, and Harvard University Lowell House, Cambridge.The Surveyor will:Have 3-5 years of experience as a survey crew chief working in areas like construction layout and as-builts.Experience utilizing Leica Robotic Total StationExperience using levels, line lasers, and hand measuring tools to accurately retrieve measurements in the field and then producing accurate as-built style drawings and sketches for our detailers to utilize in the design process of items.Job requires you to travel to Boston to acquire field measurements multiple days a week and also periodic office check-ins multiple days a week.Strong communication skillsStrong analytical skills in the field.Attention to detail and a desire to produce high quality, accurate, and detailed drawings from all field measurements, whether in AutoCAD or on paper.The Surveyor will have most, if not all, of these requirements:Experience with heavy construction jobs - particularly steel construction is preferred but not required.Experience with AutoCAD is preferredExperience with Leica 3D Scanner BLK360 is a plusExperience running Carlson Software and Data CollectorsSurveyor benefits include:Competitive salary ($70k -$90k) based on skill and ability.
