In late 2022, the Company partnered with Boyne Capital, a Miami, FL-based Private Equity firm that seeks to forge lasting and collaborative relationships with companies whose founders are still deeply involved in growing their businesses.
Opportunity
Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Controller is a key member of the finance team at Ryan Infrastructure Services and will support the business in compliance, reporting and finance operational efficiency as the business scales and executes against several growth and continuous improvement initiatives. The role will be instrumental in driving improvements in the month-end closing process and ensuring timely & accurate delivery of financial reporting to internal stakeholders and to the private equity sponsor.
Responsibilities
- Execute and improve the monthly closing process
- Complete weekly cashflow forecast and scorecard/KPI dashboard
- Support the VP of Finance in maintaining compliance with private equity sponsor reporting deliverables
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of the annual capital and operating budget process in collaboration with the VP of Finance and other members of the executive team
- Support the integration of accounting functions for new acquisitions
- Identify and drive financial and operating improvements
- Support internal and external audits
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum of 2 years of audit at a national or regional public accounting firm
- Minimum of 2 years serving in Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller role at a mid-sized company
- Strong ERP proficiency - NetSuite or similar
- Exceptional analytical, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Willing/able to be onsite in Suffolk, VA
Desired Qualifications
- Percentage of completion accounting experience is highly valued
- Prior experience within the construction industry/project management software proficiency - Procore or similar
- Experience working in a PE sponsored environment
- Master’s degree in accounting/MBA
- Active CPA license
