Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced custom homes Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. This role requires excellent leadership abilities to supervise on-site teams effectively while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Supervise construction site activities, including coordinating subcontractors and laborers.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project scheduling and documentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and safety regulations (OSHA).
- Excellent blueprint reading skills along with the ability to interpret schematics accurately.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Experience in construction site management is essential.
