Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to serve as a Commercial Lines Account Manager / Marketing Specialist. This role focuses on both marketing new and renewal commercial business and managing client accounts to deliver excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate commercial submissions, develop marketing plans aligned with client needs and carrier appetites.
- Manage the renewal process, including gathering loss runs, completing applications, obtaining quotes, and negotiating terms.
- Prepare account specifications, client proposals, bind policies, and ensure accurate & timely issuance of COIs/EOIs.
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned commercial clients, explain coverage forms, and advise on risk management.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts through added coverages and services.
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to E&O procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial property & casualty insurance (account management or marketing role).
- Active P&C insurance license (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
- Working knowledge of commercial coverage types and rating/marketing platforms.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Self-starter who thrives in a team-oriented, client-focused culture.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $45,000 – $65,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
