Pipe Layer

Job Summary: A Pipe Layer is responsible for all activities related to pipe installation, maintenance, and repair on construction projects. They work closely with construction crews, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that pipe work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project plans and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that piping systems are installed according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Assessing the ground conditions, digging trenches, assembling pipes, and laying pipes
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including proper storage of materials and tools
• Maintain open and effective communication with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
• Drivers License required
• Extensive experience in pipe installation, maintenance, and repair
• Strong knowledge of pipe systems, including various materials, sizes, and connection methods
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problemsolving skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them effectively
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging weather conditions

Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
