Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation massage to address individual client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals while working directly with our doctors
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness
- Maintain detailed treatment records, including notes on physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to each session
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to occupational health standards and sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop personalized pain management plans when necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service by listening attentively and responding empathetically to client feedback
Skills
- Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to tailor effective treatments
- Proven experience in patient service with excellent communication skills
- Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic modalities for pain relief
- Ability to assess patient needs accurately through comprehensive evaluation techniques
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence and client satisfaction
- Prior experience in med spa settings is highly desirable for understanding specialized treatments and protocols
