Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Operate Square point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management to ensure freshness and safety.
- Support team members in food preparation, kitchen tasks, and general restaurant operations to ensure smooth service flow.
Skills
- Previous experience in food preparation or a quick service & fast food restaurant environment is highly desirable.
- Experience in preparing fresh pizza is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy.
- Experience in cashiering helpful.
