Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee all maintenance operations within our facility. This role is responsible for managing the maintenance team, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of equipment and machinery, developing preventive maintenance programs, and maintaining a safe and compliant working environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge, and experience managing maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team to ensure effective execution of maintenance activities and employee growth.
- Manage the installation, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of facility equipment, machinery, and production systems.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and priorities with production and other departments to support operational goals.
- Troubleshoot and oversee resolution of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and OSHA requirements.
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, logs, equipment histories, and other documentation to support operational and compliance requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage departmental budgets, inventory, spare parts, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective maintenance operations.
- Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvement initiatives.
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping and organization within maintenance shops, equipment areas, and throughout the facility.
- Enforce compliance with company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and Safety Manual requirements.
- Monitor and promote quality, environmental, safety, and compliance objectives; investigate and address equipment-related quality concerns and safety incidents.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment performance, maintenance efficiency, and overall plant productivity.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
- Demonstrated experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), PLCs, and automated production equipment.
- Strong understanding of OSHA, NEC, ANSI, and other applicable safety and regulatory standards.
- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and operational performance.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
