TITLE: Talent Acquisition Manager

We are seeking a proactive and organized Talent Acquisition Manager to oversee full-cycle recruiting for accounting professionals across the organization. This role is responsible for identifying staffing needs, developing effective hiring strategies, and attracting qualified candidates for a variety of accounting and finance positions. You will be the first person in the role and will play a role in shaping processes. Currently hiring about 12 people per year.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts for accounting roles at multiple levels, including staff through leadership positions
- Create and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, professional networks, referrals, universities, and industry associations
- Collaborate with management to define hiring needs, role expectations, and ideal candidate profiles
- Review applications, conduct preliminary interviews, and assess candidates for both technical qualifications and cultural alignment
- Partner with the Office Manager to support onboarding activities and ensure a smooth new-hire transition
- Coordinate interview logistics, evaluations, and feedback with internal stakeholders
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified accounting talent for current and anticipated openings
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Three to five years of recruiting experience, preferably within accounting or finance (in-house or agency)
- Working knowledge of accounting roles, certifications (such as CPA or CMA), and relevant skill sets
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
