Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sterile Compounding Technician at our Chester, VA, location. The role involves preparing sterile compounded medications, maintaining a clean and sterile laboratory environment, labeling and documenting medications, following proper safety and compliance guidelines, and collaborating with pharmacists to ensure high-quality patient care. The technician will play a crucial part in delivering customized healthcare solutions.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Compounding and Pharmacy operations
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills to ensure proper handling and preparation of medications
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate with pharmacists and other team members effectively
- Certified Pharmacy Technician credentials or equivalent experience preferred
- Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining safety, accuracy, and compliance
- Familiarity with industry standards and protocols for sterile compounding is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, on-site environment
The selected candidate Must Have:
- Minimum of 2 years recent sterile compounding experience
- Current PTCB Certification and/or Current Virginia Board of Pharmacy License
- High School Graduate

Pharmacy Hours:
- Mon: 9:00am - 6:00pm
- Tue: 9:00am - 6:00pm
- Wed: 9:00am - 6:00pm
- Thu: 9:00am - 6:00pm
- Fri: 9:00am - 6:00pm
- Sat: 9:00am - 2:00pm (rotational shift / average 1 Saturday per month)
