Guaranteed Weekly Hours (GWW): 40 hours/week

Position Overview

Rx relief is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Outpatient Pharmacist to join our team in the Reno/Sparks, NV area. This position offers a 26-week contract with 40 guaranteed weekly hours and the potential transition to a permanent role after the contract period.

As an Outpatient Pharmacist, you will support operations across three key facilities in the region, providing exceptional pharmaceutical care and patient consultation.

Key Responsibilities & Details

• Schedule: 8-hour variable shifts within facility operating hours:
• Facilities 1 & 2: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Saturday & Sunday (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Facility 3: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Floating Requirement: Must be willing and able to float between all three facilities in the Reno/Sparks area.
• Core Duties: Dispense medications accurately, evaluate prescription orders, provide patient counseling, ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations, and deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Requirements

• Licensure: Active and in good standing Nevada (NV) Pharmacist License.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of retail or outpatient pharmacy experience as a licensed Pharmacist.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work variable 8-hour shifts, including evenings and weekends as scheduled.

Position Overview

Rx relief is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist for a contract assignment in the Reno/Sparks, NV area. This role involves floating across three modern facilities, providing essential clinical services, patient education, and medication management.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient counseling, education, and new member onboarding.
• Perform medication therapy management (MTM) and medication reconciliation reviews.
• Manage therapeutic conversion to formulary guidelines.
• Work directly with patients suffering from chronic conditions, including Diabetes, COPD, and Asthma.
• Float between three local facilities to support operational and clinical needs.

Shift & Schedule Details

• Guaranteed Work Week (GWW): 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour variable shifts
• Facility Hours:
• Facilities 1 & 2: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Saturday & Sunday (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Facility 3: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | No weekends

Qualifications & Requirements

• License: Active, unencumbered Nevada Pharmacist License (NV).
• Education & Training: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required; PGY1 Pharmacy Residency strongly preferred.
• Experience Required:
• Background in patient counseling, medication therapy management (MTM), and medication reconciliation.
• Experience with formulary conversion processes and new member onboarding.
• Demonstrated clinical experience supporting patients with Diabetes, COPD, and Asthma.
• Flexibility: Willingness and ability to float among all three facilities in the area.
