Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their marina experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Assist customers with product demos, merchandise inquiries, and upselling opportunities to maximize sales
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and conducting inventory checks regularly
- Maintain proper cash register operations, including cash drawer handling and balancing registers at shift end
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing information about marina services and products
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and ensuring store cleanliness and organization
Requirements
- Prior retail or grocery store experience preferred, with familiarity in retail math and cash register operations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve our diverse clientele effectively
- Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and sales techniques is highly desirable
