Job Overview
The Unit Secretary, under the direct supervision of the Program Director, and/or designee, performs receptionist, clerical and secretarial activities, as well as medical record duties. The Unit Secretary functions as the central communication source at the nursing station. All methods of practice shall conform to written hospital policies and procedures and be carried out to the highest achievable level of competence in a manner demonstrating concern and consideration. The Unit Clerk will demonstrate the RWJBarnabas philosophy to Total Quality Management by actively applying that philosophy in all dealings with both internal and external customers.

Schedule
- Part-Time, 16 hours per week
- Friday, Monday and every other weekend
- Shifts 7am-3pm
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical Secretarial School or equivalent, preferred.
- Knowledge of medical/psychiatric terminology and medication preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word preferred.
- Experience in medical transcription preferred.
Salary : $17 - $19
