The Secretary in the Radiation Oncology is responsible for providing clerical support to the department. You will work closely with patients, physicians, and staff to schedule appointments, maintain accurate patient information, communicate scheduling details, and help ensure patients receive timely and coordinated care.
As Secretary, a typical day might include the following:
- Greeting patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism, warmth, and courtesy
- Answering phones professionally, recording messages and forwarding calls to appropriate parties
- Filing patient information in a timely fashion

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Preferably with clerical experience in health care and medical terminology. Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office and proficient computer skills. Familiarity with office equipment such as copiers and fax machines. Must demonstrate willingness to learn.
This is a Per-Diem, day position.
