Job Overview:

The Burn Center at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (formerly Saint Barnabas Medical Center) is the only state-certified burn treatment facility in New Jersey, and one of the largest in North America. With 12 intensive care beds and an 18-bed step-down unit for less critically injured patients. The Burn Center provides expert care for patients of all ages. We are seeking a compassionate, intensive care Registered Nurse to care for our patients in their time of need.

As an experienced Intensive Care Registered Nurse (RN), a typical day may include:

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification along with ACLS certification with I.V. certified from an approved facility. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred with a minimum of 2 years of intensive care experience required, preferably with burn care experience, and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day Shift, Per Diem, 2–12.5-hour shifts per month, both shifts on weekend, 1–12.5 hour Summer Holiday (July 4th, Easter, Labor Day), 1–12.5 hour Winter Holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
