Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s Degree
- NJ Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- AHA BLS Provider Certification
- Tact, initiative and judgment in performance of duties
- Minimum one-year of experience working with children under five years old and their caregivers
- Experience with young children diagnosed with autism
- Familiarity with parenting programs for parents of young children with autism
- NJ LCSW
- AHA BLS Provider Certification

- Flexibiliy in work hours and performance of duties
- Collaborates with developmental pediatrician or other diagnostician and caregiver to identify treatment goal
- Provides effective individual, family group psychotherapy as indicated with emphasis on parenting of young children with autism or related issues
- Identifies and assists with linkage to community supports as needed
- Identifies realistic goals for psychotherapy
- Attends program development and case conferences as indicated for patients treated or evaluated
- Provides in-services to staff and community agencies as requested by Supervisor
- Disseminates findings accurately and sensitively, according to Department policy
- Provides supervision to staff, fellows, interns and externs as indicated
- Provides effective team consultation as needed
- Meets minimum annual expected volumes
