Role Description
The Project Management Office (PMO) Project Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting the Project Manager(s) and Program Manager in the coordination, implementation, management, and completion of projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for helping manage workplan reviews, issue tracking, deliverable and project status updates, timeline management, and risk management tracking.
The Project Coordinator will assist with the creation and maintenance of well-written, organized project documentation.
Maintain effective communication with project team, stakeholders, supervisor, and Executive Management to ensure all levels are appropriately informed of project progress and issues.
Work independently under regular supervision with quantifiable and qualitative results.
Maintain a level of understanding of RWJBH Enterprise goals and IT goals and how they both are supported and impacted by portfolio of projects.

Education
- Preferred: Bachelor s Degree
- Minimum: Associate s Degree with three or more years of related experience
- Preferred: Three (3) years relevant experience in large scale project coordination/support, preferably in a health care setting
- Minimum: One (1) year relevant experience in large scale project coordination/support, preferably in a health care setting
- Experience in MS Office Suite, Project Management Information System/Project Planning tool
- Adaptability/flexibility: demonstrating flexibility with respect to changing end-user business needs
- Critical thinking: the ability and willingness to see things in an open-minded way and examine an idea or concept from as many angles as possible
- Dependability: the ability and willingness to take ownership of work activities and ensure that they are completed in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
