Job Overview:
At Trinitas Regional Medical Center, a Behavioral Health Nursing Educator works under the general direction of the Administrative Director. The Nurse Educator will coordinate, implement, and evaluate educational programs that support specialty needs. In association with other departments, the Educator will provide and facilitate a variety of educational services and consultations to support growth, development, and educational needs across the specialty.
To be considered for this Nurse Educator opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing, a bachelors degree in nursing, and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. While a minimum of two (2) years experience in Behavioral Health is desired, previous clinical nursing experience is a requirement. A Master's degree in nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, but flexibility to meet department needs is required.
