Job Overview:
The general maintenance professional ensures the buildings environment of care is functional through routine compliance inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in hospital or industrial maintenance/construction
Certifications/Licenses:
- Valid New Jersey Driver License preferred
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full-Time, Night Shift
- Tuesday-Saturday, 12am-8am
Essential Functions:
- Perform scheduled compliance inspections and repairs as needed
- Respond to patient related concerns and other tasks as assigned
- Ensure all building systems meet safety regulations and inspect for hazards, ex: fire boundary inspections and firefighting equipment preventative maintenance
- Utilize work request systems, maintain records, and oversee outside contractors
