The 5-Diamond Patient Safety Program was developed as an innovative training and recognition program to assist dialysis providers in increasing awareness and building a culture of safety among patients.
As a Hemodialysis Tech you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, perform hemodialysis procedures, order & stock supplies, disinfect/ clean RO system, jugs & machines and perform environmental safety checks of the unit.
Educational Skills Required (Degree(s), Certification(s), License, etc.)
- Must be certified as mandated by CMS within eighteen (18) months of their date of hire as a Dialysis Technician.
- Obtain BLS through AHA within three months of employment in this position.
- Ability to perform all competencies is required for employment in this position.
