Job Overview:
CSP Technician is responsible for the processing and distribution of supplies and equipment to all nursing care units, surgical services and ancillary areas.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year surgical or sterile processing experience
Preferred:
- Graduate from an approved Central Supply Program
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- Current sterile processing certification national or international
Scheduling Requirements:
- Shift working, Days
- Per Diem
- Weekend rotation required
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for decontamination of equipment
- Disassembles, cleans, assembles, and sterilizes instrumentation
- Must be conscientious with regard to procedures and capable of working under pressure and interact in professional manner with other departments within the hospital
- Other duties as assigned
