Job Description: 

The Purchase Card (P-Card) Coordinator will be responsible for supporting all aspects of our corporate card program. This position requires the individual to be customer centric and display critical thinking capabilities. This role will process requests for p-cards, support controls around the program, monitor usage and spending limits, and reconciliation of p-cards expense exceptions and issues. The role will provide subject matter expertise for p-card usage across RWJBarnabas Health, and collaborate with the Purchase Card Administrator on day-to-day operations.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred,

1-2 years in an accounting, audit, or finance related field with preference to direct experience in P-card related function,

Experience with Chrome River or similar Expense Managemen solution a plus,

Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications,

Able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, possess good communication (written and verbal) skills

Work is performed in a fast paced and challenging office environment,

Work may be stressful at times,

Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people,

Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations
