RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our well-established OB/GYN practice in New Jersey. Our team of physicians and midwives works collaboratively to provide high-quality, respectful, and culturally appropriate care.
Job Responsibilities
As a valued member of our inter-professional team, the CNM will provide full-scope
Midwifery Care In Collaboration With Our Physicians, Including
Monmouth Medical Center (MMC), located in Long Branch, New Jersey, is an RWJBarnabas
Health facility and includes The Unterberg Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center. MMC is an academic medical center with a long-standing commitment to medical student education and GME programs in surgery and other disciplines. A 513 bed facility, Monmouth Medical Center is one of New Jersey's largest academic medical centers and has been a leader in surgical advancement. MMC surgeons have introduced many technological firsts to the region, including pioneering robotic surgical procedures in both general and orthopedic surgery, and other minimally invasive techniques.

Midwifery Care In Collaboration With Our Physicians, Including
- Antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
- Well-woman gynecologic care
- Family planning and contraceptive counseling
- Patient education and advocacy
- Labor and delivery support at Monmouth Medical Center (Long Branch, NJ)
- Office-based care at our locations in Colts Neck, Little Silver, and Lakewood
- Current New Jersey CNM license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Minimum of 3 years of full-scope midwifery practice in a collaborative MD/MW environment preferred
- Strong clinical skills with an evidence-based approach to care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for patient-centered, holistic care and shared decision-making
