Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma.
- Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program.
- Radiology license and/or CVT ( cardiovascular Tech) or RCIS (Registered Cardiology Interventional Specialist)
Radiology Tech license preferred
Certifications And Licenses Required (if Applicable)
- Current RCIS certification or RAD license.
- Minimum of 6 months clinical experience preferred but not required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- Per diem
- Days
- Some on call hours will be required off hours and weekends.
- Assumes responsibility for patient care and monitoring before, during and after procedures.
- Assists MD with Cath/PCI, peripheral, (Mitraclip, Watchman), EP cases.
- Adheres to on call policy requirements.
- Executes special assignment with the lab. Participates in quality improvement programs and inventory control.
- Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s age specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care.
