Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Patient Service Representative role located in Elizabeth, NJ. The Patient Service Representative will handle day-to-day tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient inquiries, verifying insurance information, and providing excellent service to patients at the medical office. Additional responsibilities include maintaining electronic medical records and ensuring effective communication between patients and medical staff.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Appointment Scheduling and exceptional Phone Etiquette skills
- Experience with Insurance Verification and understanding of Medical Terminology
- Knowledge of Medical Office operations and administrative tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in medical administration are advantageous
