Job Summary:
The Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for assisting the Director and Managers of Financial Analytics in managing key Financial Analytics tools and data within RWJBH Health System.
Essential Functions:
- Contribute to data reliability, detailed analysis, and consistency of monthly data across RWJBH Health System
- Provide training on StrataJazz to Directors/local site staff for new releases, site lead training, and rollout of new reports
- Analyze financial metrics across RWJBH system
- Prepare and distribute executive team reporting packages
- Analyze data for opportunities by site across the system, evaluate findings with management
- Assist in implementation and completion of external benchmarking engagements
- Utilize external benchmarks to drive savings across the system
- Support assigned sites with budgeting process, including performing audits
- Support sites with rolling forecast process, auditing workbooks, answering site questions, reviewing forecasts, and producing site reports
- Use per-unit-of-service reports to identify opportunities across sites
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field required
- 1-5 years experience in healthcare finance, preferably in budgeting and forecasting
