Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring quality standards across our manufacturing facility. This role requires a strong background in process engineering, mechanical knowledge, basic electrical knowledge, and experience with industrial equipment. The Industrial Engineer will play a key role in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and supporting manufacturing operations to achieve operational excellence.
Salary range is $49,983 - $105,733 based on experience

Duties
- Develop, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo.
- Design and optimize tooling, fixtures, and assembly line layouts to enhance productivity and safety.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues impacting quality or efficiency and implement corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical variable frequency drive (VFD) control panels from outside panel shop.
- Create schematics, process flow diagrams, and technical documentation adhering to ISO 9001 standards.
- Lead projects related to lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and process engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on fabrication, welding, tooling development, and automation projects.
- Perform factory experience assessments to identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction.
- Support the implementation of industrial equipment upgrades and new technology integrations.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards throughout all manufacturing activities.
- Manage, monitor and implement quality control, and safety initiatives.
· Ownership of quality system including vendor and customer nonconformances, change control documentation, drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing inspection processes.
Skills
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools and techniques for managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
- Strong root cause analysis skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues effectively.
- Expertise in CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and general schematics design.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Knowledge of VFD utilization, function, and design.
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly lines, fabrication techniques, welding, tooling development, and industrial equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, ISO 9001 standards, GD&T practices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings including schematics and mechanical drawings (GD&T).
- Experience in factory environments that involve process engineering, fixture design for assembly process, fabrication, and industrial equipment integration.
- Strong analytical skills combined with excellent communication abilities for cross-disciplinary collaboration in a manufacturing setting.
