Scope
Develop and support technical training programs focused on compression operations. This position will help employees develop the technical skills necessary for the safe, environmentally responsible, reliable, and efficient operation of Production and Midstream assets and organizations.
The Technical Trainer III will serve as a key interface among training and competency curriculum subject-matter experts, the broader training organization, line management, and the applicable governance councils. The position may also develop curriculum and establish training plans and roadmaps within assigned functional support areas.

Scope

Responsibilities
- Work with line management, the Training Supervisor, and appropriate governing bodies to apply Operations Training system requirements.
- Establish, certify, and track compliance with business-line training and skills-development requirements across Operations, Midstream, and supporting organizations.
- Help ensure site training plans meet company expectations and recognized best practices.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts and Competency and Training Advisors to define final training-product requirements and meet global training objectives.
- Support instructional systems design and ensure learning-management systems align with competency and training processes and best practices.
- Assist with database functionality, customized reporting, key performance metrics, and resolution of complex training-system issues.
- Deliver technical information effectively to individuals and groups.
- Adhere to all company guidelines and directives.
- Influence stakeholders and drive results without direct authority.
- Oil and gas training experience within the specified compression craft is required.
- Strong knowledge of compression operations and maintenance.
- Knowledge of SSHE management within operations and maintenance environments.
- Understanding of critical operations, applicable technologies, and unit- or area-specific operating requirements.
- Knowledge of global training systems and learning-program management.
- Experience with instructional design, vendor management, HR technology, or learning-management systems as needed.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
- High-level verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking and presenting to groups.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated initiative, customer focus, and ability to apply learning effectively.
