This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the manufacturing facility and outdoor grounds while also supporting basic production and material handling activities. Duties include sweeping, trash removal, restroom cleaning, retrieving and delivering parts within the plant, deburring and cleaning sharp edges from manufactured parts, inscribing or marking part numbers, and assisting with light facility support tasks as assigned. Forklift and overhead crane operation may be required after training and certification.

- Perform general plant housekeeping and janitorial duties throughout manufacturing and facility areas.
- Deburr and clean manufactured parts to remove sharp edges and prepare parts for handling or shipment.
- Inscribe, mark, or identify part numbers on materials and components.
- Retrieve, transport, and deliver materials and parts throughout the facility.
- Operate hand tools, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment safely after training/certification.
- Assist with light maintenance and facility support duties as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must either possess or be able to acquire and practice knowledge of basic computer skills and the ability to adapt to all applicable software that is required for the Company’s operations in the building process.
- Must either possess or be able to acquire and practice effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills necessary to work with employees within the Company related to performing the essential job functions of this classification.
- Must be able to complete work in a safe manner.
- Must be physically able to lift and load from the floor to overhead heights weight up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to pass the state approved written and hands on test in order to effectively operate a fork truck.
- Must be able to pass the state approved written and hands on test in order to effectively operate a floor operated overhead crane.
- Normal manufacturing environment with exposure to dust and excessive noise associated with the manufacturing process.
