What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swimming Pool Technician position at RW Haggerty Pools Service Inc.?
Haggerty Pools has proudly been serving Fairfield and Westchester County for over 60 years and we are looking to add to our team.
We are in need of experienced Pool Service Technicians who are team players, clean cut, well-spoken in English and professional. The candidates must follow company policy and show up to work on time daily. Have at least 2 years pool experience, a valid-clean drives license and undergo a background check. Military, high school or equivalent graduate a must.
The job includes maintaining all aspects of the swimming pool: open/close, cleaning, balancing water chemistry, operating the pool equipment and diagnosing problems with plumbing, heating and computers, as they arise.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain swimming pools and spas
- Opening and closing swimming pools/spas
- Weekly vacuum service
- Service calls
- Equipment installation and repairs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Drivers License!
- At least 2 years in the swimming pool industry
- Mechanically inclined
- SP2 license or equivalent certification a plus - but not needed
- Military, High school degree or GED is Required
- Good communication skills - must speak English
- Must be willing to submit to a background check
- Pay based on experience
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
