Position Overview
A growing Family Medicine clinic in Great Bend, KS is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its full-time team.
This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity in an outpatient clinic setting with a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to clinic patients in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Assess and interpret patient information to identify individual care needs.
- Apply sound clinical knowledge and independent nursing judgment.
- Provide age-appropriate patient care based on individual needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other members of the clinical team.
- Accept responsibility and accountability for the quality of nursing care provided.
- Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Kansas or a compact state license.
- Minimum 1 year of RN or LPN experience required.
- Outpatient clinic experience highly preferred.
- Current BLS certification required upon hire.
- Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
