Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented RV Parts and Warranty Writer to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Process warranty claims efficiently by reviewing automotive diagnostics reports and verifying coverage details
- Manage parts inventory using inventory management systems and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software to ensure accurate stock levels
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for part sourcing, pricing negotiations, and procurement management
- Maintain detailed records of parts administration, order management, and warranty documentation in compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with internal teams such as automotive service technicians, logistics, and customer service to facilitate smooth communication and workflow
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking repairs, parts usage, and warranty status
- Support shipping & receiving processes, including parts shipping, receiving, and warehouse management activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in parts administration, inventory control, or procurement management within the automotive or RV industry
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, vehicle systems, and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards
- Familiarity with inventory management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms
- Experience with supply chain management, demand planning, and logistics inventory management practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry and reporting tasks
- Mechanical aptitude with automotive diagnostics and automotive repair knowledge preferred
- Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers while maintaining positive vendor relationships
- Excellent internal communication skills to coordinate across departments effectively
