What are the responsibilities and job description for the Storage Assistance position at RV and Boat Storage?
Full time Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday (Wednesday & Thursday OFF)
Must know how to operate Forklift and able to drive Class A motorhomes
You will help oversee the daily operations of an indoor RV and boat storage facility. Your workday will be split between assisting new and existing customers and office tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Provide outstanding customer service, including in-person, phone and email communications. Respond to web, voicemails and walk-in inquires in a timely and courteous manner.
- Handle storage reservations, U-Haul rentals and miscellaneous merchandise sales including onsite amenities i.e. propane, dump station, water, air compressor and vacuum
- Reviewing and verifying customer records required for storage reservations, pickup and U-Haul rentals
- Able to park, move, and store vehicles i.e. RV's, boats, trailers, toy haulers by way of forklift and/or other moving equipment. Operate gate controls and access codes.
- Maintain a clean facility both inside and outside.
- General management of the office, ordering supplies, filing, opening and closing office
- Assist Facility Manager with any other tasks
Requirements:
- Customer service: 1 years (required)

- Forklift experience: 1 year (required)
- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
- Flexibility: weekends & holidays
- Knowledge of RV, boats, trailers, off-road toys a plus
