Rutter's is seeking a Project Manager – Architect to lead the design and execution of new store construction, remodels, and facility improvement projects. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of one of the fastest-growing convenience store chains in the region.
What You'll Do
As the Project Manager – Architect, you'll oversee projects from initial concept through project closeout while ensuring exceptional quality, budget performance, and schedule adherence. You'll partner with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to deliver innovative, functional, and brand-focused facilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead architectural design and project management for new construction, renovations, and remodels.
- Develop project concepts, budgets, scopes, schedules, and design presentations.
- Produce and oversee architectural construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate architectural, engineering, permitting, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
- Oversee construction administration, RFIs, QA/QC, and project closeout.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain Rutter's architectural brand standards, including building and signage design.
- Supervise the Architectural Drafter and support professional development.
- Coordinate fuel canopy, exterior, and interior signage.
- Maintain the department's internal project collaboration resources and documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
- 3–5 years of professional architectural design and project management experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong working knowledge of Revit.
- Knowledge of current construction materials, building systems, and construction methods.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
