What You'll DoAs an HVAC/R Technician I, you'll help keep Rutter's locations operating safely and efficiently by servicing and repairing a wide variety of equipment and systems, including:
- Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Refrigeration equipment
- Kitchen and foodservice equipment
- Beverage systems
- Plumbing systems
- Lighting and electrical systems
- General building repairs, including minor drywall, flooring, and painting
- Company tools, equipment, and service vehicles
This position requires participation in an on-call rotation and the ability to work overtime as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
What We're Looking For- At least 2 years of experience in HVAC/R or restaurant equipment service OR 2 years of formal technical training in HVAC/R, plumbing, or electrical
- EPA Section 608 Universal Technician Certification - Required
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage service needs across multiple locations
- May be required to successfully pass a DOT physical depending on the vehicle operated
