The length of this position may vary, with potential coverage needed through June 2026.Job ResponsibilitiesAll Otter Valley teachers are expected to: implement standards-aligned units of study and engaging lessonsuse content-specific pedagogical techniques to engage learnersuse assessment to inform instruction throughout the learning processcreate positive classroom cultures focused on relationships, inclusive practices, and reciprocal trustcollaborate effectively with colleagues to improve teaching methods and ensure supports are in place for all studentsSpecific responsibilities for this position include: A working knowledge of the Common Core content and recommended practices.An enthusiasm for the craft of writing and ability to work with different rubrics for specific writing tasks.Willingness or experience in working with middle school studentsStrong communication skills.
