Community Care Network is looking for a Per Diem Maintenance Technician to join our team!

About the Role:
The Per Diem Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of grounds, building, and equipment of our Agency buildings to ensure the health, welfare, safety and satisfaction of our employees and consumers.
Performs preventive maintenance and general repairs such as:
- Paints buildings and equipment, patch plaster walls, and repairs or replaces tiles and other wall coverings.
- Repairs and constructs wood and metal equipment, furniture, doors, windows, shelves, floors, security screens, and other fixtures; assembles modular furniture.
- Opens stopped sewage and drain lines, replaces or repairs faucets, toilets, sinks, valves, water lines, and other plumbing equipment and fixtures.
- Replaces light bulbs performs other non-licensed electrical work.
- Assists contractors with more complex maintenance, repair and construction activities.
- Develops and maintains a good working rapport with agency personnel.
- Provide on-call coverage as needed.
- Grounds maintenance to include snow removal and salting of sidewalks and building entrances.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Basic carpentry, plumbing skills, and computer skills required. Previous construction or maintenance experience preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with personal automobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandated by the State of Vermont.
- Successful completion of a criminal history background check after hire.
