School Social Worker
- Must meet all health, physical and background check requirements.
- Must hold a current Tennessee license with endorsement #488 (School Social Worker).
- Possess strong interpersonal skills-ability to work effectively with a wide range of people (i.e., students, school administrators, teachers, support staff, parents, and other professionals in the school and community).
- Ability to carry out responsibilities with limited direct supervision.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Possess a broad knowledge and demonstrate proficiency in the application of Special Education Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining to the referral, identification, and placement of students with disabilities.
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills
- Possess sufficient computer skills necessary to maintain records and complete required documents and other paperwork related to the position.
- Must maintain regular attendance
- Must be able to interact with students
