Special Education Teacher
- Endorsement codes: 066, 067, 069, 086, 105, 144, 145, 460 and 461
- Able to write and implement all components of an IEP(Individual Education Plan)
- Must be able to use a variety of reading and math strategies to meet the needs of exceptional students
- Must have strong organizational skills, able to schedule teaching, assessments, IEP meetings, and professional collaboration to meet all local, state, and federal requirements for special needs students
- Must be a strong communicator with parents and able to hold structured IEP meetings to meet all requirements
- Must be a critical thinker, team player, collaborator, and able to use students' academic performance data to make accurate decisions to meet students needs
- Must maintain regular attendance
- Must be able to interact with students
