What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Judicial Commissioner position at Rutherford County Government?
The purpose of this classification is to perform supervisory work associated with overseeing and assisting with the activities of the department; preside over court hearings as designated by the General Sessions Judges. Supervisory responsibilities to include aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, payroll, and personnel record keeping; Duties and responsibilities include completing Judicial Commissioner duties, supervising assigned employees, supervising department's accounts payable and accounts receivable, supervising department's payroll and timekeeping processes, coordinating budget preparation, processing FMLA requests, processing receivable warrants for revenue collections, generating reports, and maintaining other departmental records. Requires a 24 hour a day on call presence for emergencies involving law enforcement. Reports to the General Sessions Judges.
Salary Range: $82,309 - $96,483 - Commensurate with full-time prior experience.
