Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing patient assessments, executing preventive dental care, and assisting in various dental procedures while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to maintain optimal oral hygiene for patients.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain aseptic techniques throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Aid the dentist with procedures and emergencies as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Provide care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practice standards
- Comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Keep accurate records of patient treatments and progress within the dental office systems.
Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene Program
- Active Dental Hygiene License
- Current CPR
- Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits
Pay is an hourly rate and will be determined based on experience and length of service. The office schedule is Monday-Thursday averaging 30 hours per week.
