Responsibilities

- Implement sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met across all areas.
- Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchens by cleaning surfaces, sinks, appliances, and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces to maintain a dust-free environment.
- Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to janitorial work, including proper use of cleaning detergents and equipment.
- Conduct outdoor cleaning tasks when required, such as sweeping walkways or maintaining outdoor spaces.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks for residential clients, ensuring their homes are maintained to high standards of cleanliness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles; residential housekeeping experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and supplies used in residential or commercial settings.
