Position Summary
The Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the beverage program, including wine, spirits, and bar operations. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences, drives sales, manages inventory, and leads the bar team with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities
-Develop, maintain, and enhance the restaurant’s wine, cocktail, and beverage program
-Train and mentor bar staff, ensuring high standards of service and product knowledge
-Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls to meet financial goals
-Collaborate with management to create promotions and drive beverage sales
-Ensure compliance with all local and state alcohol regulations
-Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
-Monitor trends and introduce innovative beverage offerings
Qualifications
-2 years of experience in beverage or bar management, preferably in upscale dining
-Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and mixology
-Proven leadership and team development skills
-Excellent communication and guest service abilities
-Ability to manage inventory, budgets, and cost controls
-Certification (Sommelier, WSET, or similar) is a plus
