Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing,
- Assist with medical appointments, as needed.
- Monitor residents’ health and well-being.
- Support medication administration (after training) and help implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Provide companionship and engage residents through meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring adherence to health regulations such as HIPAA standards.
- Respond quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
- Provide accurate documentation.
- Maintain required trainings.
Requirements
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a Criminal Background and Drug Screening.
- Commitment to health and safety of residents.
- Able to perform housekeeping tasks and basic cooking.
- Be reliable and dependable.
- Have excellent communication and people skills.
- Have a positive and compassionate attitude.
